Description
The American Kennel Club Canine Health Foundation’s OAK Grant supports high-impact scientific research that advances the health of all dogs. Projects may investigate canine disease processes, apply fundamental knowledge to develop solutions to canine health problems, explore outcomes-based solutions in clinical settings, or combine these approaches. Research may address any of the Foundation’s 25 Research Program Areas.
The program prioritizes studies that address demonstrated areas of need, foster critical discoveries, or produce outcomes that improve canine health care and help dogs live healthier lives. Proposed work must align with the Foundation’s mission and be feasible within its proposed budget. This cycle accepts applications from Rising Researchers and includes additional requirements for applicants under the Early Career Investigator program.
