    Description

The Oberkotter Foundation supports projects that introduce or expand pediatric hearing screening and/or diagnostic services by bringing care closer to children and families. The opportunity aims to promote timely identification of hearing status, reduce loss-to-follow-up, and address barriers to accessing traditional pediatric audiology settings. Approaches may include community-embedded services, telehealth, mobile care, or other service delivery models.

Projects may implement a new service, expand or modify an existing project, or adapt a proven approach from another setting. The Foundation prioritizes interventions for children from birth to 3 years of age, consideration of underserved families, and potential for broader impact. Proposals should address community-specific barriers, define measurable goals, track service impact and project costs, and consider sustainability beyond the grant period.
