The Skin of Color Society's Observership Grant offers dermatology residents, 2nd–4th year medical students, and junior faculty the opportunity to participate in a mentored, 1–4 week rotation with a Skin of Color Society (SOCS) mentor of their choice. The grant aims to foster academic and research skills, build meaningful mentor-mentee relationships, and support the development of future leaders in dermatology specializing in skin of color. Funding primarily supports travel, lodging, and related expenses to facilitate the observership.
