--- ## Description This grant provides financial support to freelance and staff journalists from any country for in-depth, ambitious reporting projects on critical ocean and fisheries topics. The aim is to surface underreported stories that address challenges such as illegal fishing, climate change, environmental degradation, marine biodiversity, blue economies, and restoration efforts. Projects should foster transparency, highlight solutions, and engage diverse audiences, ultimately contributing to sustainable fisheries and thriving coastal communities.
