Description
The Ocean Reporting Network Fellowship, offered by the Pulitzer Center, empowers experienced journalists—both freelance and staff—to dedicate a full year to in-depth or investigative reporting on urgent ocean issues. Fellows receive comprehensive support including a full-time salary, up to $10,000 USD in reporting expenses, specialized training, and editorial guidance from the Pulitzer Center’s Environmental Investigations Unit. The fellowship is designed to address the global need for sustained, high-quality journalism on marine topics such as climate change, overfishing, biodiversity loss, pollution, deep-sea mining, ocean governance, and supply chain transparency. Fellows join a collaborative, international network of reporters, amplifying the impact and reach of their stories to drive meaningful change for ocean health.
