Description
The Rhode Island Life Science Hub (RILSH) runs this program with Ocean State Labs, powered by Portal Innovations. It helps academic translational life sciences programs and their industry partners establish or expand joint research at Ocean State Labs. Selected partnerships receive support for laboratory space and student trainees, along with access to shared facilities, equipment, educational programming, networking, and entrepreneurial services.
The program aims to reduce barriers to translational research while advancing technology development, industry collaboration, future commercialization, and long-term economic impact in Rhode Island. It is intended for projects that need wet laboratory space and have technologies with commercial potential.
