Description
The NUMÜ grant window, administered by Expertise France under WATANI, supports organisations helping established Tunisian businesses accelerate their growth and improve long-term sustainability. It finances entrepreneurial support, training, access to markets, innovation and financing preparation, alongside other relevant activities that improve business performance. Support may include business-plan structuring, specialised technical assistance and equipment. The window targets businesses in an acceleration phase, rather than ideation projects.
WATANI is financed by the Agence française de développement and implemented in partnership with Tunisia’s Caisse des dépôts et consignations. Its broader goals include strengthening entrepreneurial-support structures, fostering inclusive local economic development and mobilising diaspora resources and expertise. NUMÜ funds services rather than direct cash transfers to businesses, with attention to employment, business survival and entrepreneurs’ access to financing, markets and formal partnerships.
