The OI-Folger Institute Short-Term Visiting Fellowships are designed to support original research on early America at the Folger Institute in Washington, DC. Offered jointly by the Omohundro Institute of Early American History and Culture and the Folger Institute, these fellowships encourage projects in Atlantic history, colonial history, literary studies, performance history, and material culture. The program is open to scholars at various career stages, from advanced graduate students (including ABDs) to senior researchers, providing an opportunity to utilize the Folger’s rich resources and scholarly community.
