    Description

The Counter Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) Grant Program is a federal DHS/FEMA program offered through the Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management and Homeland Security. Established under the Working Families Tax Cut Act of 2025, it supports government purchases of technologies to detect, identify, monitor, track, and mitigate unlawful or nefarious drone activity threatening people, communities, institutions, critical infrastructure, and sensitive government operations.

The program prioritizes first-response and law-enforcement capabilities protecting soft targets and crowded places, including public venues and events. National priorities include building detection and response capacity and supporting security for the 2028 Summer Olympics and Paralympics, the Olympic torch relay, and interagency coordination before the opening ceremonies. Equipment operations are subject to specific federal counter-UAS authorities.
