    Description

The State and Local Cybersecurity Grant Program (SLCGP), administered in Oklahoma through the Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management and Homeland Security, supports cybersecurity practices and resilience among state, local, and territorial governments. Funded through the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, also known as the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, the program enables the U.S. Department of Homeland Security to make targeted cybersecurity investments in government agencies.

The program addresses risks from sophisticated adversaries, vulnerabilities in commonly used hardware and software, increasing reliance on networked technology, and connections between cyber and physical systems. Its central priorities are protecting critical infrastructure and strengthening the resilience of services provided to communities. Oklahoma applications must connect proposed investments to the State Cyber Plan described in the application announcement.
