Description
The Oklahoma Florists’ Education Fund is administered by the American Floral Endowment (AFE) to support continued education and professional development for Oklahoma’s floral community. Established in 2025 using funds previously stewarded by the Oklahoma State Florists’ Association, it carries forward the association’s commitment to helping florists access tools, training, and inspiration in a changing marketplace.
The fund supports design classes, training delivered by outside industry professionals in retail flower shops, and educational programs hosted in Oklahoma for retail florists. It also supports attendance at national and local industry seminars, conventions, workshops, and meetings. Each year, AFE’s Education Committee selects one recipient for a travel grant to attend an out-of-state industry educational event.
