The Oliver P. Pearson Award, administered by the Latin American Fellowship Committee of the American Society of Mammalogists (ASM), honors the legacy of Oliver P. The award provides financial support to early-career professional mammalogists currently holding academic or curatorial positions in Latin America, helping them establish or consolidate their research programs.
