Description
The Oncology Nurse Scientist Research Intensive is an in-person professional development event designed for early-career PhD-prepared oncology nurse scientists. Hosted by the Oncology Nursing Foundation, this program provides a unique opportunity to participate in a mock study section, receive feedback from senior research faculty mentors, and engage in working sessions to refine and strengthen grant proposals. The event aims to expand the scientific foundation of oncology nursing practice and foster research mentoring, networking, and career advancement. Participants develop modification plans and timelines for revising and submitting their proposals to external funding agencies, with ongoing follow-up to track progress.
