Description
The General Community Grants Program from the Community Foundation San Luis Obispo County provides local nonprofits with funding to address critical needs across four priority areas: Arts & Culture, Environment, Health & Human Services, and Seniors & People with Disabilities. This annual, competitive grant process is designed to advance cultural expression, preserve natural resources, address health disparities, and support independent living and well-being for vulnerable populations in San Luis Obispo County. Funding decisions are made by an external committee of community experts, volunteers, and staff, with an emphasis on demonstrated community impact, alignment with funding priorities, data-driven approaches, collaboration, and organizational adaptability.
