The OneMPLS Fund is a flexible, community-driven grantmaking initiative of the Minneapolis Foundation. Each year, the fund targets 1–3 of the most urgent and emerging needs in the greater Minneapolis area, such as housing stability, economic mobility, public media protection, and basic needs. Grants are distributed as one-time awards to local nonprofit organizations with deep community trust and proven track records. The fund prioritizes innovative, systems-change, multi-generational, and intersectional approaches, and elevates community voices through its selection process. Funding decisions are informed by community input, research, and partnerships, with an emphasis on moving resources quickly to where they are most needed.
