Description
The Cooley's Anemia Foundation supports ongoing clinical research projects that address significant clinical challenges faced by patients with Thalassemia. The program is open to a broad range of professional backgrounds (MD, RN, PhD, MPH, MSW, and others) and seeks proposals that directly impact patient care, such as research on cardiac issues, iron overload, fertility, bone health, quality of life, and psychosocial burdens. The aim is to fund studies that generate tangible improvements for the Thalassemia community, emphasizing clinical relevance and immediate applicability.
