Description
The Open Society Fellowship supports public intellectuals based in seven global cities—Beirut, Buenos Aires, Colombo, Dar es Salaam, Jakarta, Lagos, and Taipei—who are engaged in high-level critical debate and innovative thinking. Fellows are selected for projects that exemplify heterodox perspectives, openness to new approaches, and vigorous debate, aiming to shape global conversations on issues such as human rights, social justice, climate change, and inequality. The fellowship reflects the Open Society Foundations’ commitment to fostering critical thought and alternative viewpoints that advance open societies.
