Description
The Minnesota State Arts Board’s Operating Support program provides general support to high-quality, established organizations that produce, present, or exhibit art; provide a broad range of services to practicing artists; or offer arts learning through community arts schools and conservatories. The program supports arts programming and learning for Minnesotans of all ages and abilities.
Operating Support recognizes organizations with an established record of programmatic service and administrative stability. Funding helps them pursue their own goals and objectives while maintaining ongoing programs, services, and facilities. Organizations do not need to emphasize new initiatives to justify support: sustaining established arts activity, artist services, and arts education is central to the program.
