The Opportunities to Lead initiative from Campus Compact invites individuals and institutions within its coalition to take active roles in shaping the national landscape of higher education civic and community engagement. Participants may propose or co-host conversations on emerging topics, facilitate or co-facilitate Communities of Practice, co-sponsor events, serve on advisory committees or design teams, coordinate place-based networks, or develop partnerships that extend campus or local innovations to a broader audience. This program is designed to leverage the collective expertise and priorities of Campus Compact members to advance the organization's mission and impact in civic engagement.
