Opportunity Grants provide a funding avenue for American Association of Endodontists members whose requests fall outside the guidelines of the Foundation’s current grant-making programs. Requests must directly relate to at least one of the Foundation’s mission areas: endodontic research, education, access to care, or public awareness.
The Foundation’s Special Committee on Funding Initiatives reviews letters of intent for alignment with current priorities. Applicants whose requests fit those priorities may be invited to submit a full proposal to the Board of Trustees. The Board reviews proposals at its annual or interim meeting, providing oversight for funding opportunities beyond the Foundation’s established programs.
