Description
The Opportunity Grants & Sponsorships Program, administered by the West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission's Division of Science and Research (STaR Division), is designed to advance STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) education and professional development throughout West Virginia. The program supports projects such as STEM-focused camps, workshops, travel to scientific conferences, and sponsorship of statewide scientific or technical events. Funding is intended to supplement other sources and must be directed toward a single, well-defined purpose that engages students or citizens in STEM or enhances faculty/student professional development.
