Description
The Orthopaedic Research and Education Foundation (OREF) offers this grant to support investigator-initiated research in the science of biologic reconstruction, bone regeneration, and transplantation. Its scope includes allografts and the use of stem cells for graft transplantation. Multidisciplinary research activity is strongly encouraged.
OREF invites clinically relevant orthopaedic research and encourages well-crafted basic, translational, and clinical studies. Projects should generate results with a practical application, with clinical relevance clearly expressed in the abstract and specific aims and evident from the title and study design. New investigators who have demonstrated a sustained interest in research and excellence in their training are encouraged to apply.
