Description
The Oregon Barber and Hairdresser Grant Program provides one-time financial support to low-income students training in barbering, hair design, cosmetology, or manicure. The Office of Student Access and Completion (OSAC), an office of Oregon’s Higher Education Coordinating Commission, administers the program for students at participating Oregon schools.
This is financial aid for vocational training, not a research or project grant. Participating schools select eligible students and notify those chosen. The number and size of grants depend on interest earned on the Barber and Hairdresser fund.
