Description
The Oregon Opportunity Grant is Oregon’s largest state-funded, need-based grant for college students. Administered by the Office of Student Access and Completion (OSAC), it supports more than 30,000 Oregon residents each year as they pursue undergraduate education at participating public and private institutions. Students of all ages may be considered.
The grant supports study toward a first associate or bachelor’s degree, as well as certain other eligible programs. OSAC prioritizes students with the greatest financial need. Awards depend on a student’s Student Aid Index, the type of institution attended, and enrollment level; they are distributed through colleges during eligible academic terms.
