Description
The Oregon Teacher Scholars Program (OTSP) Grant supports students pursuing preliminary licensure in teaching, school counseling, school social work, and school psychology. Administered by the Office of Student Access and Completion (OSAC), the program is offered in partnership with the Educator Advancement Council and the Oregon Department of Education. It connects financial support for educator preparation with meaningful experience serving diverse populations and continued development of cultural competency.
The grant funds study in approved educator preparation programs, with priority given to continuing scholars completing their credentials. OSAC reviews available funding annually and prioritizes renewal awards before considering new applicants. When resources are limited, financial need and application completion date guide award decisions.
