This grant provides operating support for Maine-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit arts organizations with annual operating budgets exceeding $25,000. The goal is to sustain the infrastructure, creative workforce, and overall health of Maine’s arts sector by funding core operating costs. Eligible organizations include those whose primary mission is the arts or multipurpose organizations where at least half of programming is arts-related. Funds can be used for a wide range of operating expenses, including facilities, salaries, artist/contractor fees, marketing, administration, and accessibility initiatives, for costs incurred within the July 1, 2026–June 30, 2027 funding period.
