    Description

    RRF Foundation for Aging’s Organizational Capacity Building (OCB) Grants are designed to help Illinois-based nonprofits that serve adults aged 60 and older make fundamental, long-term improvements to their management systems, governance, and organizational infrastructure. Funding supports a broad range of capacity-building activities, including board development, communications and marketing, evaluation, fundraising, human resources, IT improvements, internal operations, organizational strategy, and program planning.

    There are two main types of grants:

    • Standard OCB Grants: For comprehensive, long-term capacity-building projects.
    • OCB Flexible Fund Grants: For immediate, short-term technical assistance or readiness assessments (up to $5,000).

    The aim is to enhance nonprofits’ ability to serve older adults in Illinois more effectively and sustainably.
