Funding Amounts: Up to $5,000, covering up to 70% of consultant services

Description
The Community Foundation of the Lowcountry’s Organizational Development Grants help nonprofits strengthen their organizations by retaining a consultant. Available to organizations serving Beaufort, Colleton, Hampton, and Jasper Counties in South Carolina, the program focuses on increasing capacity to govern and achieve long-term sustainability.
Supported consulting work addresses specific organizational development needs. These may include strategic planning, organizational structure, board and staff relations, governance training, and development of board and staff policies and procedures. Consultants may also assist with asset development planning, marketing, public relations and communications planning, mergers or consolidations, fiscal management, and social justice planning. The funding is dedicated exclusively to consultant services rather than broader program expenses.
