Description
The ORS Early Career Outreach Travel Award enables early career members of the Orthopaedic Research Society (ORS) to engage in hands-on STEM outreach at the ORS Open Door 2027 event, held during the ORS Annual Meeting in San Francisco. Awardees will help plan and lead programming, moderate discussions, and guide activities aimed at introducing middle school students—particularly those from BIPOC and underrepresented backgrounds—to career opportunities in musculoskeletal sciences. The initiative is designed to provide valuable training in science communication and outreach while fostering professional connections within the ORS community.
