Description
The ORS Early Career Outreach Travel Award is designed to empower enthusiastic early career members of the Orthopaedic Research Society (ORS) who are passionate about STEM outreach. The award provides selected individuals with funding to participate in the ORS Open Door 2026 event, held in conjunction with the ORS Annual Meeting in Charlotte, North Carolina. Awardees will help plan and lead programming, moderate discussions, support workshops, and engage with middle school students—especially those from underrepresented and first-generation backgrounds. The initiative aims to foster excitement about musculoskeletal sciences, introduce students to diverse career paths, and provide valuable outreach training for early career professionals.
