Description
The Orthodontic & Craniofacial Clinical and Translational Research Award recognizes a young investigator for outstanding clinical and/or translational research pertinent to orthodontics and craniofacial biology. Presented by IADR’s Craniofacial Biology Research Group and sponsored by the group and John Wiley & Sons Ltd., recognition is based on an abstract, supplemental research information, and a research poster presentation.
The competition emphasizes original, unpublished work with potential impact within the Craniofacial Biology Research Group’s scope. Review considers scientific strength, relevance, research design, and clarity of presentation. The group’s executive officers and directors select up to five finalists for a poster competition at the IADR General Session. No award will be given in 2027.
