Key Information: Applicants must have an academic or industrial research affiliation outside the receiving organisation and commit full-time.
The Osteology Foundation’s Advanced Research Traineeships connect research and education through short-term, mentored training in oral tissue regeneration. The programme supports individuals learning a specific technique, method, or model as part of their professional development. It is intended primarily for early-career researchers, but researchers at other career stages may also apply.
A mentor at the receiving organisation provides guidance and shares expertise, fostering collaboration between individuals and institutions. Knowledge transfer, collaboration, and network building are central to the programme. Through transnational and transdisciplinary exchange, trainees develop skills and competencies to bring back to their home institutions and apply to their own research projects. Funding supports the trainee’s travel and living expenses alongside the host organisation’s training-related costs.
