The Osteo Science Foundation OMS Research Fellowship is a 12-month, full-time research fellowship intended to foster a commitment to regenerative medicine among individuals pursuing a career in oral and maxillofacial surgery (OMS). Fellows conduct laboratory research under the direct mentorship of a leading OMS surgeon/researcher at a participating institution, gaining hands-on experience and individualized guidance. The fellowship emphasizes producing significant research outcomes, including abstracts or posters for major professional meetings and a manuscript for publication. Travel support is provided for presenting at the AADOCR meeting, and fellows are engaged in regular communication and outreach activities with the Foundation.
