The Orthopaedic Trauma Association (OTA) Patient Mental Health Grant funds the development of creative programs and resources aimed at improving the mental and social health of patients within orthopaedic trauma care. Supported initiatives may include screening and evaluation processes, peer mentorship programs for trauma survivors, trauma recovery coaching, and other novel approaches that address patient well-being. Grantees benefit from mentorship and guidance provided by the OTA Patient Mental Health Committee throughout the project.
