The Our Children Fund is designed to support children in the Fairfax County foster care system and young adults (ages 18–21) who have not achieved permanency. The fund helps address unmet medical, social, emotional, and educational needs by providing financial assistance for items and experiences that foster a sense of normalcy—such as afterschool activities, camps, sports fees, dental and health services, and more. The goal is to ensure that foster children and eligible young adults can participate in everyday experiences and receive essential services that may not be covered by other funding sources.
