Description
The Our Children Fund offers direct financial support to children and young adults in the Fairfax County, Virginia foster care system. The fund is designed to address otherwise unmet needs that contribute to a sense of normalcy and well-being, such as afterschool activities, camps, sports fees, and health or dental services. The goal is to ensure that foster youth and young adults who have not achieved permanency have access to opportunities and resources that promote healthy development, social integration, and positive life experiences.
