Description
The Outdoor Recreation Grant Program, administered by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR), provides matching grants to local governments for the acquisition, development, and redevelopment of outdoor recreation facilities in local and community parks throughout Minnesota. The program aims to expand and enhance close-to-home recreation opportunities by supporting projects such as trails, playgrounds, picnic shelters, athletic facilities, boat accesses, fishing piers, swimming beaches, skate parks, and campgrounds.
