Description
The Outdoor Recreation Mitigation Grant (ORMG) is administered by the Utah Division of Outdoor Recreation to help eligible Utah counties manage the impacts of increased outdoor recreation, tourism, and visitation. The grant funds essential services and infrastructure needs such as search and rescue, emergency medical response, law enforcement, solid waste management, road repairs, and safety improvements. The program is designed to support counties where local tax revenues are insufficient to cover visitor-driven costs, ensuring both residents and visitors can safely enjoy Utah's outdoor spaces.
