Description
The Outdoor Recreation Mitigation Grant (ORMG) is a Utah state program designed to help eligible counties address and manage the impacts resulting from increased outdoor recreation, tourism, and visitation. Funds may be used for critical needs such as search and rescue (SAR), emergency medical services (EMS), law enforcement, solid waste management, road repairs, and safety improvements directly tied to visitor activity. The grant enables counties to maintain safe, sustainable, and welcoming outdoor spaces while addressing the unique challenges that come with heightened recreational use.
