Description
This program, administered by the Chesapeake Bay Trust in partnership with Maryland counties and cities, funds projects that foster community engagement, knowledge-building, behavior change, and on-the-ground restoration to advance environmental health and stewardship. Applicants can propose projects in one of four tracks: Outreach/Knowledge Building, Behavior Change, Restoration, or a combination of Outreach and Restoration. The program aims to increase public understanding of environmental challenges, inspire positive behavioral shifts, and implement tangible improvements to local green spaces, waterways, and natural resources. Projects are expected to demonstrate measurable outcomes and promote lasting community involvement and stewardship.
