This grant supports projects and activities that improve public understanding of conservation and assist under-resourced institutions in meeting their collection care needs. Eligible projects may include collaborative efforts such as rehousing collections, delivering public lectures, or other outreach initiatives that build community awareness, engage media, and foster connections between conservation professionals, allied practitioners, and the public. Funding is intended for direct project expenses, including materials, travel, honoraria, site fees, and publicity, but not for focused conservation treatment, large-scale assessments, ongoing programming, or activities at the AIC Annual Meeting.
