Description
The American Geriatrics Society (AGS) presents this award to recognize a junior faculty clinician-educator in the development stages of their career who has made significant contributions to geriatrics education. It honors work advancing the education and training of students and trainees in health professions schools, rather than funding research or project work.
The award recognizes both direct work with learners and the development of programs through which geriatrics is taught. Contributions may include teaching, mentoring, providing career advice, and educational program development. Teaching expertise and educational program development are expressly valued in selecting the recipient.
