Description
The Overseas Faculty Development Seminars (OFDS), organized by the Council of American Overseas Research Centers (CAORC), provide U.S. higher education faculty and administrators with immersive, short-term academic programs abroad. These fully funded seminars are designed to strengthen teaching and curriculum development by offering direct exposure to regional histories, contemporary issues, and local communities through expert-led discussions, field visits, and collaborative exchange with local institutions. Participants return with enriched global perspectives and educational materials to integrate into their professional practice and classroom instruction.
