Description
The Overseas Research Fellowship Scheme (ORFS) is a pilot initiative by the University Grants Committee and the Hong Kong Research Grants Council designed to promote the internationalisation of Hong Kong's UGC-funded universities. The scheme provides mid-career academic staff with the opportunity to undertake immersive research collaborations at overseas institutions. Through supporting overseas research visits, ORFS aims to enhance the research competence of Hong Kong faculty, increase international visibility, and complement existing sabbatical and mobility programs. Fellows can work on research projects or participate in research-related professional development in international settings.
