Description
The scheme enables mid-career academic staff at Hong Kong UGC-funded universities to spend up to six months at overseas institutions, laboratories, or clinical settings for research collaboration and professional development. The goal is to foster international engagement, enhance research skills, and integrate global research trends into Hong Kong’s academic community. The program is being piloted for three academic years (2026/27–2028/29), with a quota of 40 fellowships awarded annually. Universities may provide additional top-up funding.
