Description
This program enables non-entitlement cities, counties, and incorporated towns in Indiana to create or expand local owner-occupied home repair initiatives. Funding supports essential repairs and accessibility modifications for low- and moderate-income homeowners, with the goal of improving housing safety, comfort, and independence, as well as the quality of local housing stock. Eligible activities include roof, heating/cooling, and water heater replacement, select electrical upgrades, and ADA/accessibility improvements. The program is administered by the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs (OCRA) using federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds.
