This program provides funding and technical support to owners and managers of under-resourced multifamily buildings in New York State, enabling them to advance energy efficiency and decarbonization projects. NYSERDA matches participating building owners with pre-qualified Owner’s Representatives who offer independent expertise in project planning, competitive bidding, capital stack guidance, stakeholder communication, construction oversight, and project close-out. The goal is to overcome common barriers to project implementation, enhance building value, improve resident comfort, and help properties transition to low-carbon operations in alignment with state climate targets.
