Description
NYSERDA’s Owner’s Representative Services for Multifamily Buildings program matches building owners and managers with pre-qualified technical experts who act as independent resources throughout energy efficiency and decarbonization projects. It supports owners who are unsure where to begin, as well as projects stalled by limited staff, resources, or difficulty implementing assessment recommendations.
Support can cover project planning, competitive bidding, capital funding guidance and analysis, stakeholder communication, construction oversight and cost management, and project close-out. Owners can select individual services or combine them according to project needs. The program aims to remove implementation barriers, accelerate low-carbon building upgrades, enhance long-term asset value, improve resident health and comfort, and achieve operational savings.
