Description
The PA Life Science Greenhouse Initiative is a statewide program designed to foster innovation and growth in Pennsylvania’s life sciences sector. Administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED), the initiative provides early-stage funding, business expertise, and specialized support to emerging companies through three regional Life Science Greenhouses (LSGs). These Greenhouses focus on building regional strengths, developing networks among universities, research institutions, and industry, and accelerating the commercialization of life-saving technologies. Funding is available in various forms—including grants, loans, equity investments, and royalty/payback agreements—tailored to the needs of each business and project.
