Description
The German Research Foundation (DFG) offers Package Proposals as a way to submit thematically related individual research projects together while retaining each project's independence. The projects share a topical connection and may refer to one another, but each is conducted independently and reviewed separately. DFG funding is open to all subjects.
This format is distinct from a DFG Research Unit. Investigators pursuing a common research objective in a closely coordinated, collaborative research environment should apply for a Research Unit instead. Package Proposals use the Research Grants Programme guidelines, with support requested through one or more funding modules. DFG asks applicants to call its office before submission to facilitate administration.
