The Physician Assistant Education Association (PAEA) Research Team administers this scholarship to increase educators’ engagement in research and scholarly activities. Formerly the Scientific Meeting Scholarship, it supports the development and presentation of original research, increasing the visibility of PAs and PA faculty researchers at meetings attended by high-level health care decision makers. National meetings are strongly preferred, particularly conferences beyond the PAEA Education Forum and AAPA Conference.
Support also extends to webinars, skills-building courses, and certificate programs that strengthen research methods, software or research models, leadership skills, and teaching competencies. Article processing and publication fees for work in research journals are also supported. Recipients represent the PA profession, PA educators, PAEA, and their own programs or institutions.
