--- ## Description The Pain Medicine Fellowship at Mayo Clinic’s Jacksonville, Florida campus is a comprehensive, one-year training program for physicians seeking advanced education in pain management. The program offers multidisciplinary exposure to acute, chronic, and interventional pain medicine, with strong emphasis on outpatient assessment, multimodal treatment planning, and advanced procedures such as neuromodulation. Fellows work closely with board-certified specialists from anesthesia, physical medicine and rehabilitation, and neurology. The curriculum covers medication management, physical and behavioral therapies, interventional techniques, hospital-based acute pain, complex cancer pain, and palliative care.
