Description
The Music Library Association (MLA) offers this annual travel grant to help library paraprofessionals and people working in public libraries attend its annual meeting. Supported by an anonymous donor and MLA members, the grant addresses limited professional-development support for these workers, including staff at libraries with significant or unique music collections.
Attendance gives recipients opportunities to hear presentations, work with committees, and take part in MLA’s professional community. The grant supports attendance at the MLA annual meeting, not travel to chapter meetings.
