Description
The Park and Recreation Development (PARD) Fund is a state-funded, noncompetitive, reimbursable grant program administered by the South Carolina Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism. It helps eligible local governments and special purpose district entities provide recreational opportunities within their counties.
PARD supports the development of new public recreation facilities and the enhancement or renovation of existing facilities. Its focus is on the facilities that make public recreation possible, allowing local entities to address both new infrastructure needs and improvements to facilities already in use.
