Description
The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources offers these grants through its Community Conservation Partnerships Program to improve local parks and recreation facilities. Projects can build new facilities or rehabilitate existing ones, including playgrounds, skateparks, ballfields, pools, splash pads, pavilions, and indoor recreation facilities.
A Small Community Development category supports basic outdoor recreation and park projects in municipalities with populations of 5,000 or less. It has a lower match requirement than traditional development grants.
